A KEIGHLEY-based election hopeful is holding a recruitment meeting in a town centre pub.
Leo Robinson hopes people will sign up to his Northern Tea Party during the meeting at Wetherspoon’s on Monday (December 8).
Supermarket trolley worker Mr Robinson, a former Tory Party member, set up the Yorkshire Tea Party earlier this year.
He was forced to change the name because he could not get the permission from Taylors of Harrogate, makers of the Yorkshire Tea brand.
The meeting will be at 7.30pm. Mr Robinson said people would be able to identify him because he will be wearing a waistcoat and a dark red tie.
