CREWS providing temporary cover for striking firefighters tackled a barn blaze at Silsden last night.
Five appliances were sent to the scene of the fire, at Fishbeck Lane, shortly after 9pm.
The blaze involved a 15-square-metre barn.
Crew members, including non-striking staff and so-called community response operatives, managed to stop the blaze spreading to nearby farm buildings.
No-one was injured and no animals were affected.
The incident came just five hours after a temporary crew had dealt with a chimney fire, also in Silsden.
West Yorkshire brigade bosses said a total of 50 incidents were attended across the county during the latest 24-hour walkout by Fire Brigades Union members, which ended at 9am today.
