A BRONTE enthusiast and former BBC television presenter will lead a vintage bus tour of the most important sites associated with this literary family.
Christa Ackroyd will front the Bronte Heritage Tour, which sets off from outside the National Media Museum in Bradford on Sunday May 24.
The tour forms part of the 2015 Bradford Literature Festival.
A spokesman for the event said: "This is an unrivalled opportunity to follow in the footsteps of Emily, Anne and Charlotte.
"The tour includes an expert guide, pick-up and return from Bradford city centre in a classic vintage tour bus, lunch at the Lord Nelson in Luddenden, readings from the works of the Bronte sisters, as well as entry to Bronte Parsonage Museum.
"From the age of nine Christa has always had a passion for the Brontes. So much so, that if ever she was asked her favourite place to visit, it would always be Haworth, the parsonage and the moors so loved by Yorkshire’s most famous literary family."
The tour will begin at 10am and run until 5pm.
Admission is £35. Visit the events section of the Bradford Literature Festival website to book a place.
