A KEIGHLEY community centre has gained a £13,600 grant to enable it to improve its building.
The money from the Asda Foundation has been awarded to Hainworth Wood Community Centre.
This cash will allow the centre to complete the fourth phase of a scheme to enhance the premises in Hainworth Wood Road.
So far this year the centre has achieved charitable status and received a total re-wire funded by Incommunities housing association.
Thanks to the latest grant from the Asda Foundation it will also be benefitting from an external facelift and renovation work.
Sonia Evers, community development worker for East ward, said: "Asda Keighley have over the last year supported us with fundraising events, the green token scheme and their Community Life Champion Mel Judson who has helped deliver many activities within the centre for all ages.
"This is a really exciting time for the centre and its users and will help to improve the wider area as well. The centre is looking forward to a really positive future."
