A LINK-UP between police and a Keighley community centre is cutting anti-social behaviour in the neighbourhood.
Police community support officers were invited to the Hainworth Wood Community Centre to promote the Owl project.
At the least 25 residents signed up for the Neighbourhood Watch-style project, which allows people to spread crime warnings online.
A spokesman for the centre said the scheme ensured residents felt more secure in the community by being kept informed about problems that could affect them.
Police officers have also been regularly visiting the centre to chat with residents during the weekly Wednesday community cafe.
The spokesman added: “We feel we have built a very positive and proactive relationship with the local police and we will continue to build on this in the future.
“This is having a positive impact on how anti-social behaviour and other issues are being dealt with.”
