A KEIGHLEY church minister convicted of sex abuse case offences is due to be sentenced on Thursday (Oct 19).
Laurence Peterson, 59, of Eric Street, was found guilty of three charges of conspiracy to commit indecent assault and two counts of aiding and abetting indecent assault.
He was convicted of the offences following a six-week trial.
His sentencing was originally scheduled for yesterday at Bradford Crown Court, but the case was relisted.
Co-accused John Wilson – a pastor at Liberty Pentecostal Church in Keighley – was found guilty by a jury of 14 charges of indecent assault, three of conspiracy to commit indecent assault and one of sexual assault and was jailed for 21 years.
His wife, Mary Wilson, was convicted of two charges of aiding and abetting indecent assault and was sentenced to 22 months imprisonment, suspended for two years.
