Villagers in Laycock can now enjoy brand new kitchen facilities, courtesy of a community grant.
Laycock Village Hall has been fitted with a new kitchen, replacing one that had been in place for at least 30 years.
Most of the money for the work came from a £10,000 grant from the Co-operative Society.
Jim Walker, chairman of the trustees responsible for running the hall, thanked the Co-op and also paid tribute to Keighley firm Lemon Squeezy, which installed the new facility.
"They've done a very good job," he said. "We're very happy with it and hope it means the hall can host weddings in future.
"The old kitchen was no longer up to modern standards."
He said the hall - which was built in 1927 - was always in demand for events such as children's parties and community group meetings. It also hosts musical events staged by the Brontë Blues Club.
Anyone interested in hiring it can phone 01535 667908.
