HAWORTH Band is used to playing at various venues.
And for its latest engagement, members took to the hills.
Five musicians, dressed for the cold, played early-morning at Bronte Waterfall to welcome competitors taking part in this year's Haworth Hobble.
"Our members' music was greatly appreciated by the 'Hobblers'," said a band spokesperson.
"The band also played at Haworth Primary School in the afternoon, as participants completed the run, and joined in with the presentations at the end of the event."
The annual Haworth Hobble covers a 32-mile route on the moors around Haworth, Todmorden and Hebden Bridge, with 4,400ft of ascent and descent. The maximum time allowed to complete the course is around 11 hours.
This year's event, the 43rd, sold out within four days.
