Steeton naturist Leslie Howard is following his TV appearances with a guest spot in the village’s new naked calendar.
Leslie will be Mr January in the charity all-male calendar organised by Steeton pub the Old Star.
Staff and regulars shed their clothes last Saturday at the Skipton Road pub.
The calendar, to be sold in aid of cancer sufferers, was the brainchild of pub landlords Tina and Stephen Graham. They were inspired by Leslie, a regular at the pub’s karaoke, after he appeared on ITV1 show Harry Hill’s TV Burp.
Tina said proceeds would go to the Manorlands hospice and Airedale Hospital’s oncology unit.
The project is in memory of Debbie Roberts, from Steeton, and Maureen Turner, from Eastburn, who both died from cancer in recent months.
Tina said: “They were two of my really good friends who have had such a big input into Steeton and Eastburn. They were both customers and were really good friends of a lot of people in the villages.”
Among the men recruited to pose for the calendar was Maureen’s son Kevin.
Anyone wishing to order the calendar or provide sponsorship should contact Tina on 07756 597904.
