Members of Haworth Ukulele Club were among dozens of players who descended on the Five Rise Locks in Bingley for a fun day at the weekend.
Groups from all over Yorkshire took part in the event, held to bring people with a love of the musical instrument together and to introduce more people to the ukulele.
The 35 players who attended enjoyed a mass jam session at the top of the locks – a popular tourist attraction – and the Five Rise Cafe.
About ten members from Haworth attended, joining groups from Bradford and Wakefield.
There were plenty of spare instruments, and passers-by were invited to channel their inner George Formby, even if they had never picked up a ukulele before.
One member, Julie Woodhurst, said: “All sorts of people joined in – one woman moored her barge and had a go!”
