Keighley pupils helped ensure the first in a series of charitable lunches was a success.
Students from Holy Family Catholic School, along with women from Trinity Church, catered for diners at the Salvation Army Centre, in High Street.
The lunch was organised by members of Central Keighley Churches Together and raised £153.
A further five lunches are being held, all taking place on Fridays during Lent, finishing on Friday April 3.
The simple meals are open to all and consist of soup, a bread roll and cheese, with tea or coffee.
Diners are asked to give a donation towards the work of Christian Aid.
This year’s Lent lunches are focused on raising money for the charity’s efforts in the war-ravaged Democratic Republic of Congo.
