Keighley Shamrocks u-15s 4 Norristhorpe u-15s 2
KEIGHLEY’S attacking partnership of Laszlo Szennyai and Jordan Daniel created no end of problems for the Norristhorpe defence.
After Szennyai had beaten two men on the right, he crossed to Jordan Daniel, who made no mistake with a short-range finish. Norristhorpe hit back with a top-drawer cross and header to be level by half-time.
Joe Polignone and Tyler Hall started to win most of the ball in the middle, allowing skipper Harry Farnell the freedom to thread a great pass through the defence. Daniel ran onto it and expertly struck the ball into the bottom corner to re-establish the lead.
Midfielder Dylan Ward showed mesmeric skill dribbling into the area and was brought down to earn a well-deserved penalty. Daniel strode calmly up to claim a brilliant hat-trick.
He capped a fine performance by scoring a fourth goal at the end of a move started by the excellent Tom Ormerod and Max Pearson.
Bingley A u-15s 5 Oakworth Wasps u-15s 3
Wasps scored first through Kieron Harrison before Bingley equalised to make it 1-1 at half-time. Man of the match Harrison gave Oaks the lead again twice in claiming his hat-trick but Bingley levelled on both occasions and then grabbed another two to bag the spoils.
