Bismillah Karate Club enjoyed success in the SKU National Championships in Sheffield, winning 20 medals.
The Keighley district outfit impressed across various disciplines and picked up several golds.
Medalists – Kata: Anniyah Zaman (silver), Bilal Kamram (bronze), Samuel Senior (bronze), Akeel Carles (silver), Tony Senior (silver); Fighting: Ameen Nazir (bronze), Haaziq Khan (bronze), Zeeshan Hussain (silver), Raheem Nazir (gold), Zayan Khan (silver), Akeel Carles (gold), Samuel Senior (bronze), Hamza Latif (bronze), Tony Senior (gold), Zain Hussain (bronze), Isaac Ilyas (gold); Junior team fighting: Samuel Senior & Akeel Carles (gold), Isaac Ilyas & Zain Hussain (silver); team rotation: silver.
Newly-formed Long Lee Karate Club also picked up two medals, with Zaeem Ali winning silver in the fighting and Rowen Campbell-Dale bronze in the kata.
