COUGARS have signed Ryan Wright from Kingstone Press League One rivals Doncaster RL.
The 25-year-old hooker arrives at Keighley following 18 months at the Keepmoat Stadium. In what was his second spell with the Dons, he made 39 appearances and scored three tries.
Wright began his career with Leeds Rhinos before moving to Wakefield Trinity and coming through the academy system there.
He then moved to Dewsbury Rams ahead of the 2013 season as one of Glenn Morrison’s first signings for the club.
In his first spell at the Tetley’s Stadium, the hooker made 29 appearances before moving to Doncaster midway through 2015, when he couldn’t help the Dons avoid relegation from the Championship.
Wright then returned to Dewsbury for the 2016 campaign and made a further six appearances before rejoining Doncaster midway through that year.
