Mick O'NEILL Would sincerely like to thank all his family and friends who attended his 70th birthday on Saturday May 28. It was a fantastic night which will be always remembered. Mick would like to thank the raffle collectors on the night: Councillor Doreen Lee and Carolyn Halligan, who helped to raise over £2,000 for the Danny Ryan Memorial Fund. Also thanks to the fabulous entertainment on the night: The Nomads, John Driver, Paddy Murray, Big John McCulloch and comedian Farrell Butler. Thanks also to Peter and Sheila Hastings and John and Lesley Head for their gracious and outstanding hospitality. Special thanks go to the superb people behind the Keighley Cougars Hall of Fame for a fantastic night on May 27: Maureen and Roger Spence, Pamela and Colin, Carol and Alan Inman, Dave ingham and true-blue David Kirkley - a truly wonderful evening full of memories and friends. It was also great to see past and present Cougar players and Phil Larder at both nights. Congratulations also to Tony Hennigan for his John O'Groats to Land's End trek who enjoyed a well deserved pint! What a night!
