CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL HIGHWAYSACT 1980 - SECTION 119 PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO3 (KEIGHLEY) (PART) PUBLIC FOOTPATH(DIVERSION) ORDER 2013
On 9th July 2013 City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council confirmed the above Order.
The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert that part of Public Footpath No. 3(Keighley) as shown by abold continuous line on map no. 66666/ T175consult annexed to the Order as follows:-
i. Length A-B - its full width of 1.2 metres which commences at point A - at Bradup, Ilkley Road, Keighley and extends in anorth westerly direction for a distance of approximately 70 metres to point B.
An alternative Public Footpath has been created as shown by abold broken line on map no. 66666/T175 consulte annexed to the Order as follows:-
ii. Length C-B a public footpath -1.8 metres wide which commences at point Con Ilkley Road and extends in a generally westerly direction for a distance of approximately 79 metres to point B. This length of public footpath is situated to the east ofthe existing route and will cross land designated as being open access land.
A copy of the Order as confirmed and the map contained in it has been deposited and may be inspected free of charge at Customer Services, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford, BD1 1HY during normal office hours. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased.
The Order becomes operative as from 6th August 2013, but if a person aggrieved by the Order desires to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order he may, under paragraph 2of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within six weeks from 9th July 2013 make an application for the purpose to the High Court.
