Proposals to (1) Establish Designated Specialist Provision (DSP) for Pupils with Communication & Interaction Needs at Haworth Primary School (2) Increase the Number of Pupils at High Park Special School (3) Establish DSP for Pupils with Communication & Interaction needs at High Park Special School

Notice is given in accordance with section 19(1) of the Education and Inspections Act 2006 that the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council intends to make prescribed alterations to the following schools with effect from 4 January 2016.
(1) Haworth Primary School, Rawdon Road, Haworth BD22 8DW

Proposal to establish DSP at the school with up to 12 places for primary aged boys and girls with communication and interaction needs including autistic spectrum conditions. The proposed provision is recognised by the Local Authority as reserved for children with special educational needs.
(2) & (3) High Park Special School, Thorn Lane, Bradford, BD9 6RY (2) Proposal to increase the number of pupils at High Park Special School from 80 to 95 and (3) a further proposal to establish DSP at the school with up to 16 places for boys and girls under statutory school age with communication and interaction needs including autistic spectrum conditions. The proposed provision is recognised by the Local Authority as reserved for children with special educational needs.
