ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
LYON ROAD, EASTBURN, KEIGHLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 500) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of works to replace a stop tap proposed to be executed on or near Lyon Road, Eastburn, Keighley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Lyon Road, Eastburn from a point outside No 6 Lyon Road to a point outside No 15 Lyon Road, Eastburn, Keighley.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles or to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Lyon Road (unaffected part) - Green Lane - B6265 Main Road and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 7th March 2016 and remain in force until 12th March 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 25th day of February 2016
