ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14
CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
BACK NORTON STREET, SILSDEN, KEIGHLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 503) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of work to renew a stop tap to be executed on or near Back Norton Street, Silsden, Keighley has made the above named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Back Norton Street from a point outside the rear of No 2 Norton Street to a point outside the rear of No 16 Norton Street, Silsden, Keighley.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles or to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be allowed.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Back Norton Street (unaffected section) - Back Barrett Street -Fairfax Street - Back Elm Grove and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation on 7th March 2016 and remains in force until 11th March 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 3rd day of March 2016
