ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14
CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
MAIN STREET, HAWORTH TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 506) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of works to exchange a water meter proposed to be executed on or near Main Street, Haworth intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Main Street, Haworth from a point outside No 99 Main Street to a point outside No 117 Main Street, Haworth. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Main Street (unaffected part) - West Lane - North Street -Rawdon Road and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 14th March 2016 and remain in force until 15th March 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 3rd day of March 2016
