NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 - SECTION 257 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 16 (STEETON WITH EASTBURN) (PART) BETWEEN SYCAMORE GROVE AND KNOTT FARM STEETON PUBLIC PATH (DIVERSION) ORDER 2016 On 15th March 2016 the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council confirmed the above Order.
The effect of the Order, as confirmed, is to divert that length of Public Footpath No. 16 (Steeton with Eastburn) which extends between Sycamore Grove and Knott Farm, Silsden as shown A-B by a bold black line on the Order map.
An alternative Public Footpath will be created and shown A-C-D-B by bold black dashes on the Order map, commencing at point A and continuing in a westerly direction for a distance of approximately 15 metres with a width of 1 metre to point C. The section of footpath from point C to D will be part of the vehicular highway for a distance of 80 metres. The footpath will then continue in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 45 metres to point B with a width of 0.9 metres.
A copy of the confirmed Order and the Order map has been deposited and may be inspected free of charge at the Customer Services Office, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford and the Keighley Customer Service Centre, Town Hall, Keighley during normal office hours. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased.
This Order comes into force on the date on which the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council certify that the terms of Article 2 of the Order have been complied with, but if any person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, he may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under Section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within 6 weeks from the date on which Notice is first published as required by paragraph 7 of Schedule 14 to that Act.
