ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO 79, (KEIGHLEY) FAIRMOUNT TERRACE, KEIGHLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 527) ORDER 2016 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of works to replace gas mains proposed to be executed on or near Public Footpath No. 79 (Keighley) intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Public Footpath No. 79 (Keighley) from its junction with Fairmount Terrace to its junction with Calton Road, Keighley.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles or pedestrians connected with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of public footpath.
Alternative routes for pedestrians affected by the proposed Order will be available via Fairmount Terrace, Thwaites Brow Road, Calton Road and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into effect on 16th May 2016 and remain in force until 6th June 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to six months if necessary).
