ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14

BRAITHWAITE VILLAGE, KEIGHLEY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 538) ORDER 2016
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of works to install a new water supply proposed to be executed on or near Braithwaite Village, Keighley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Braithwaite Village from a point outside Sunside Barn to a point outside No.15 Laycock Lane, Keighley. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Braithwaite Village (unaffected section), Laycock Lane, Braithwaite Road and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 7th June 2016 and remain in force until 11th June 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
