ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
GAME SCAR LANE / GOOSE EYE BROW, KEIGHLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 551) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of works to enable Yorkshire water to carry out remedial works proposed to be executed on or near Game Scar Lane / Goose Eye Brow intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Goose Eye Brow from a point at Game Scar Farm to a point at Akant in the length of Game Scar Lane, Keighley.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Goose Eye Brow (unaffected section), Laycock Lane, Braithwaite Road, Braithwaite Avenue, North Dean Avenue, North Dean Road, West Lane, Oakworth Road, Fell Lane, Holme House Lane, Game Scar Lane (unaffected section) and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 4th July 2016 and remain in force until 6th July 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 23rd day of June 2016
