ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
BACK FAIRFAX STREET, SILSDEN, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 577) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of works to enable installation of a stop tap proposed to be executed on or near Back Fairfax Street, Silsden intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Back Fairfax Street, Silsden from a point at the rear of No 16 Back Fairfax Street. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Back Fairfax Street (unaffected section), Barrett Street, Skipton Road, Back Elm Grove and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 27th July 2016 and remain in force until 28th July 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 14th day of July 2016
