ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
BROOMFIELD PLACE, KEIGHLEY, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 565) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of works for the installation of a Yorkshire Water stop tap proposed to be executed on or near Broomfield Place, Keighley, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Broomfield Place, Keighley from a point outside rear no 9 Broomfield St, Keighley to a point outside rear no 13 Broomfield St, Keighley. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access and access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Broomfield Place (unaffected section), Broomfield Road, Broomfield Street, Highfield Lane and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 5th August 2016 and remain in force until 6th August 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 14th day of July 2016
