ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14
CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
ALBERT STREET, KEIGHLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 597) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of works to carry out repairs to ironwork proposed to be executed on or near Albert Street, Keighley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Albert Street from its junction with North Street to its junction with Scott Street.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via North Street, Devonshire Street, Scott Street and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into effect on 26^th October 2016 and remain in force until 28^th October 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
