KEIGHLEY Lions would like to thank the team at Keighley BID 2024, the Sue Belcher Centre, the Hainworth Wood Centre and all the other partners and volunteers for organising the recent community walk/litter-pick from Bracken Bank to Hainworth Wood.
Alongside a big focus on the social, community-bonding aspect of the event, it was wonderful to see such determination from all involved to clean up the area.
Keighley is a beautiful place with some awe-inspiring views, gorgeous surroundings villages and green spaces – unfortunately, some of our town is blighted by selfish individuals who choose to litter.
Therefore, it was great to do our bit to help out and try to tidy up the place we proudly call home.
Going forward, I know Keighley Lions is determined to link up with other groups and individuals to help make the town a tidier place. If anyone is interested in supporting this move, don’t hesitate to get in contact via media@keighleylions.org.uk
Together, we serve. Together, we can make a positive difference in our community.
Luke Maunsell, Keighley Lions Club
