I AM 73 years old and lived at Cross Hills until 1997.

At that time I went through a divorce and had to sell my prized possession, a motorcycle.

I sold it to a guy who lived in the Riddlesden area.

What I would like to do is trace the current owner and ask if they would sell it back to me.

If anyone can help I would love to hear from them.

It may sound crazy, but I have missed the bike so much – to finish my riding days on it would mean the world to me.

The machine is a Yamaha Virago 750cc, registration number J427 WDC.

It had a custom paint job done by the famous painter 'Trotsky', so is very distinctive.

I've been in touch with the DVLA, and whilst it can't divulge owner details, I know the bike is still being given an MOT.
