A project to encourage people to get in touch with their artistic side is now on display in Keighley.
The Postcards for Keighley initiative was co-ordinated by the Russell Street-based Small World Cultural Arts Collective, with funding from Bradford Council.
Members of more than 20 community groups and schools were invited to take photographs of Keighley buildings and landscapes.
Outlines of these photos were transferred onto display boards and then painted in.
The project has taken at least two and a half years to complete, and the 94 finished boards are currently being exhibited in Central Hall, Alice Street.
Christine Scott, of Small World, said: “The groups really enjoyed getting involved, and the boards look lovely. Some of the people who took part hadn’t painted before so there’s a very varied range of styles. No two boards are the same.”
She said the ultimate objective would be to convert the pictures into postcards, which could then be sold locally.
