Tickets are on sale now for Keighley Amateurs’ production of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical Whistle Down The Wind.
The show, which was a hit in the West End and on tour, is the flagship stage production for the Amateurs’ centenary year.
The October 22-26 musical is based on the famous Hayley Mills film about children in a small town who hide an escaped convict because they think he is Jesus.
Lloyd Webber transplanted the story to Louisiana, where the racially-divided town worships God and prays for a miracle.
The show features songs like No Matter What – a massive hit for Boyzone – and When Children Rule the World.
The cast includes Brogan Hollingdrake, pictured above, as the teenage girl, Swallow, who first encounters the convict.
Whistle Down the Wind will be performed each evening at Victoria Hall in Keighley, and also includes a Saturday matinee.
Tickets cost £8 to £13 from keighleyamateurs.com, the Copy Shop in High Street or by calling 08456 252550.
