Haworth Band began its busy summer season during a garden fete at St Peter’s Church in Addingham.
The band also opened proceedings at the Manorlands Garden Party in Oxenhope with a concert that included marches, selections and music from the musicals.
The following weekend the band, under the baton of its new musical director, Tabby Clegg, played at Oxenhope’s summer fete at Myrtle Park, Bingley.
Following performances at agricultural shows in Gargrave and Malham the band, will return home to play at Keighley Show on September 7.
Potential new members should call in at rehearsals above the Fleece Inn, Main Street, Haworth, any Monday evening.
