Two bands performing at Keighley Gala will show fellow residents how they’re making names for themselves outside the town.
The Ramblers and Rock Bottom Risers will provide live entertainment alongside the funfair in Victoria Park on Sunday evening.
Rock Bottom Risers won the Battle of the Bands contest at last year’s Woodfest within weeks of forming.
They went on to play many sell-out gigs across Yorkshire – resulting in “amazing feedback” – and major venues like Manchester Academy.
The Risers attracted the attention of the BBC Introducing team – which specialises in new music – leading to high-profile radio airplay.
A band spokesman said: “We were also hand-picked from more than a thousand bands to take part in the Soundwave Music Competition.
“This gained the band some great exposure and excellent regional press.”
Audiences can expect blues-inspired rock from the Rock Bottom Risers, with a taste of psychedelia and a British indie feel. Meanwhile, The Ramblers are attracting interest from independent record labels only a year after forming in Keighley.
The indie rock outfit comprises four of the most respected and popular musicians to come out of Keighley during the past decade.
Singer and rhythm guitarist Daniel Aspinall and bassist Luke Scott previously played with Spike Island, while lead guitarist Tom Ward and drummer Matthew Fowlds were with The Sailmakers.
A spokesman said: “The band’s emergence on the local music scene in 2012 was met with great anticipation.
“Drawing on years of experience, the guys attempted to create a new sound to entertain the people of West Yorkshire and beyond.”
Following months of rehearsals and recording last year, the band made their live debut last December, and have since played venues in Manchester, Leeds and Derby.
The two bands perform between 7.30pm and 10pm at the Gala on Sunday.
