It may be a sunny summer but the Exchange Arts Centre is already thinking of a grim autumn.
The Russell Street venue will on October 26 host Evil Scarecrow, a parody metal band from Nottingham that grew out of the dying embers of Thor’s Children.
October 31 will see the Exchange’s second annual Halloween bash, with the reappearance by a band whose name can’t be mentioned in a family newspaper.
Not as scary will be alt-country Americana performer Josh Harty from North Dakota, playing a free concert on October 24. Visit exchangearts.co.uk or call 01535 661591 for full details.
