A wide range of musical styles including Glam Rock, rock ‘n’ roll and swing feature in the upcoming season at Burnley Mechanics.
Headlining concerts will be Showaddywaddy, Dennis Locorriere and the Swing Commanders along with tribute band T-Rextasy.
There will be comedy from Andy Parsons, Jeremy Hardy, Phill Jupitus and Paul Foot, plus rising star Hal Crittenden.
A German comedy export now making a big name for himself in the UK, Henning Wehn, will also present his own stand-up show. A send-up of the popular 50 Shades of Grey books, entitled 51 Shades of Maggie, goes to Burnley after sell-out runs in Scotland and Ireland.
The Mechanics will premiere a new production of the dark and chilling Dracula, while the Vienna Ballet will present Snow White.
Bringing variety will be Celebrity Cook Off Live with top TV chefs, the Mugenkyo Taiko Drummers, the Ladyboys of Bangkok and the French Can Can.
For children there will be local favourites Circus Hilarious, a stage adaptation of Julia Donaldson’s story Stick Man and Burnley Pantomime Society’s Cinderella.
