A beer festival in Keighley promises to be a riot of music and comedy.
The Exchange Arts event runs for four days next month.
As well as dozens of different types of tipples on offer, the occasion will include a variety of performers, beginning on September 13 with The Bar-Steward Sons of Val Doonican.
Exchange Arts owner, Jym Harris, explained: “They play comedy cover versions of favourite rock, metal and pop songs from the past 50 years on guitars, banjos and accordion, in the sexiest knitwear money can buy!”
The supporting act is Corporate Tramps, who will also play a range of covers.
The following night will feature three bands – The Ragamuffins and Speed Dinosaurs.
Ragamuffins impressed the crowd at Beatherder festival earlier this summer, and specialise in creating catchy indie anthems.
Mr Harris added: “Also for the Saturday we’re excited to be welcoming new American feel-good folk group, DownReno.
“They will bring a perfect beer festival vibe, with four-part harmonies, country pop and thumping upright double bass.
“Support will come from Speed Dinosaurs. They don’t take things too seriously, with songs about only marginally passing their German exams, and occasionally throwing in their unique take on Ice Ice Baby or classic punk songs.”
September 15 will be open mic night, which will give aspiring local artists the chance to show what they’re made of.
Mr Harris said: “To finish off, on the Monday we’re going to put on a night of ace stand-up comedy.
“Every comedy night needs a good MC and we will have one of the best. Mark Rough has 14 years’ stand up experience under his belt, and we look forward to welcoming him.”
