People can look forward to an all-star season at the Bronte Blues Club this autumn.
Some of the most popular acts from the previous six years will be back at Laycock Village Hall by popular demand.
Texan Hamilton Loomis will be bringing back his band, which club members voted as being the best outfit of 2009 and 2010.
Durham’s high-energy jump-jive band, The Revolutionaires, are also poised to return, having previously won an impressive seven Bronte Blues Awards.
Kyla Brox, who was best vocalist in 2008 and 2009, will perform again with her quintet for a Valentine’s Day special.
A club spokesman said: “We take our International Blues Venue reputation very seriously, with the Kai Strauss Band, from Germany, Larry Garner, from Louisiana, and Lisa Mills, from Alabama, being among the acts lined up for visits.
“The season opens on September 13, with the multiple-award winning Marcus Bonfanti-Paddy Milner quartet.”
