A professional singer-songwriter and music promoter will host a special ‘Story Tellers’ night in Keighley next month.
John Bedford, who busks under the name of Johnny B, said the event would be taking place at Pilky’s Sports Club on September 20.
He explained: “The acts will be playing their songs but also telling their stories. They will talk about how they have gotten to where they are now, and what inspired their songs.”
In addition to his own performances, the line-up will include Declan Vink, Ben Blue Waters, William Stead, Keystone and Caledonia Road. Tickets are £3 in advance or £4 on the door.
Mr Bedford (above) added: “All the proceeds will go to funding the Black Rock Music Studio, which will be supplying recording facilities for underprivileged 13 to 25-year-olds.”
