Keighley Playhouse will be packed with music fans next month as it hosts its first-ever rock concert.
Town band We Are Atlas will headline the September 21 show, supported by Operator Six and Empire Will Wait.
We Are Atlas were formed in February by former members of long-established local bands The Last 43 and DeadMessage.
John Bell, from the group, said: “The gig came about from attending a birthday party at the Playhouse, then I began the process of trying to book it.
“We had meetings with the chairman, and we agreed to look after the place and donate half our takings to the Keighley News Million for Manorlands appeal.
“It’s something fresh that hasn’t been done until now.
“We’ve all been playing in bands for years, and we are currently working on our first EP release.”
Operator Six, one of the support bands, is well known on the Keighley music circuit after eight years of gigging.
Soon after they formed, the Indie rock merchants were championed by none other than The Modfather himself, Paul Weller, and went on to tour with top bands Ocean Colour Scene, Charlatans, Divine Comedy and The Rifles.
The band is made up of singer/guitarist Adam Boyce, guitarist and brother Alex Boyce, drummer Ian Atkinson and bassist Deeps.
The musicians say they are inspired by “anything dirty and tuneful”, including the likes of Led Zeppelin, Band of Skulls, Oasis and KOL.
Boasting a bluesy British rock sound, they are past winners of a Britain’s Best Unsigned Band award.
Empire Will Wait is a post-hardcore band from Leeds, whose debut EP Sinking Ships can be downloaded for free from the mediafire.com website.
Doors open for the Keighley Playhouse gig at 6.30pm, and tickets will be £3 on the door.
