Queen of the British folk scene Kate Rusby again brings her autumn tour to St George’s Hall in Bradford.
Kate, who last year celebrated 20 years in the music industry, promises much-loved classics from her back catalogue.
A spokesman said Kate would perform on Thursday, September 19, following her appearances at several festivals during the summer.
She added: “Rusby’s wondrous singing and hugely engaging Yorkshire wit ensure audiences will be treated to a remarkable and unforgettable experience. As ever, she will be joined on stage by the cream of British folk musicians who form her band.” There will be Damian O’Kane on guitar, tenor guitar and banjo; Duncan Lyall on double bass; Steve Byrne on guitar and bouzouki; and Nick Cooke on melodeon.
During the autumn, St George’s Hall will also play host to one of the most famous British folk-rock bands of all time, Steeleye Span, who promise to perform many of their classic songs during the Tuesday, November 26, concert.
Other musical acts at the venue include rock ‘n’ rollers Showaddywaddy (September 27), singer Joe Longthorne (October 24), comedy singers Fascinating Aida (November 8) and West End singers Beyond The Barricade (December 12).
