Keighley youth theatre KYDZ has renewed its search for musicians so it can again have a live band.
The group needs a keyboard player and guitarist to complement its long-serving bassist and drummer.
Artistic director David Knights said a live band was essential for the next show, a comedy-drama featuring 60s songs.
He added: “We were deeply disappointed we had to do our past couple of shows with backing tracks, which never sounds as good. Our musicians, Dennis Stockton and Derek Arnold, have been with us since we started almost ten years ago, and they’re itching to get back on stage.”
David said KYDZ, which is a registered charity, was unable to pay for musicians. The band rehearses mostly on Thursday evenings in Oakworth. Contact David at dsknights@blueyonder.co.uk or on 01535 219705.
