Comedy returns to the Cricketers Arms this month with four stand-up comics headed by Caimh McDonnell.

The silver-haired Irishman’s razor-sharp wit and effortless charm has won him a BAFTA and taken him across the world.

Caimh (above) promises to bring the house down with his observations, tales and wry musings on September 26.

A spokesman said: “A tremendous writer and performer, Caimh is sure to bring the house down. You’ll also find out how to pronounce his name!”

Opening the show will be Will Mars, fresh from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, who is described as dry to the point of arid.

The spokesman added: “Will has reduced audiences to fits of laughter, and his deadpan styling is coupled with lines that strike with seemingly laser-guided accuracy.”

There will also be two short sets from rising stars of the comedy circuit.

Tickets cost £5. Visit cricketersarmskeighley.co.uk or call 01535 669912 for further information.
