The Military Wives of York are coming to Haworth to perform in the parish church.
The choir, which is made up of wives and girlfriends of serving members of the armed forces, can be seen on September 21.
They will be supporting the West Yorkshire branch of the military charity the Soldiers, Sailors & Airmen’s Families Association (SSAFA).
The concert, at St Michael and All Angels Church, will include popular songs and show tunes, as well as a charity auction.
York Military Wives Choir was only established in January, but has performed several small concerts in York in its first few months.
The women took part in Armed Forces Day performances in the centre of the city in June.
Terry Grayshon, SSAFA West Yorkshire chairman, said: “I’m delighted the Military Wives Choir is able to come to the wonderful village of Haworth and perform for us in the historic church.
“I’m sure the choir will be in fine form, and that the Bronte sisters would thoroughly approve of them performing at their church.”
Tickets cost £10 and are available from Firths Boutique in Haworth Main Street or visit the militarywives haworth.eventbrite.co.uk website.
