Top performers from the UK and the States -- and our own district -- headline during the new season at Keighley Blues Club.

From the USA comes Samantha Fish, who is regarded as one of that country’s best young blues/rock guitarists.

Samantha, 23, appears at the club on January 24 as part of a short tour of the UK.

From our shores come New Generation Blues, featuring three of the highest-regarded young blues guitarists in the UK.

And from Bradford comes John Verity, veteran of several decades’ performing and one of the UK’s most revered blues/rock guitarists.

Keighley Blues Club begins its season on September 20 with the return of the Nimmo Brothers, along with guest Al Hughes.

John Verity, who released acclaimed DVD John Verity Live! Live! Live! last year, performs on October 11 with support from Adam Franklin.

Multi-award-winning band Babajack appear on November 1, with support from Josie Lloyd.

New Generation Blues arrive on November 22 to showcase the talents of blues guitarists Mitch Laddie, Laurence Johnson and Federal Charm. Mitch Laddie’s album – Burning Bridges – was the co-winner of the Best Album of 2012 award in Blues & Soul magazine.

December 13 sees 24 Pesos – nominated three years running in three categories of the British Blues Awards – headline. Support comes from Chris ‘The Man in the Hat’ Martin.

This year’s free gig for club members will be on January 31, when The Proof play with support from Half Dead Clatch.

The Proof counts a couple of musicians from the renowned Buddy Whittington’s Band among their ranks. And Voodoo Room will perform Cream and Jimi Hendrix covers amongst their set on February 21.
