The Festival of Britten continues at the Grand Theatre in Leeds this month with two more operas written by Benjamin Britten.
Opera North began its season last month with a production of Peter Grimes, which continues on October 10, 16 and 26.
A Midsummer Night’s Dream – an adaptation of Shakespeare’s famous play – will be performed on Saturday, as well as October 12, 18 and 24.
Death In Venice, performed on October 17, 19, 23 and 25, tells of a widowed novelist in the midst of a creative crisis.
