A horrifically funny evening is in store for comedy fans in Keighley on Hallowe’en Night.
The Cricketers Arms will host an evening of stand-up featuring Ian D Montford and Ivan Brackenbury.
Organiser Chris Brooker said: “The show will be topped and tailed by two headline-calibre acts normally found closing major comedy clubs.”
The headliner is Ian, the Sunderland Psychic, who hosts the BBC radio four show Ian D Montford is Unbelievable.
Chris said: “This renowned channeller communicates with celebrities that have passed over to the other side.
“Sure to be both hilariously funny and utterly astounding at the same time, Ian’s shows have consistently sold out comedy festivals the world over.
“An act that truly has to be seen to be believed.”
Opening the evening will be Ivan, the hapless but well-meaning hospital radio DJ.
Chris said: “Ivan’s ongoing quest to soothe suffering with the power of music has produced mixed results for the patients but he never fails to deliver to comedy audiences.”
Support will be provided by two up-and-coming acts from the UK comedy circuit, while Chris will be compere.
Punters can go along in fancy dress during the October 31 event at the Coney Lane pub. Tickets cost £5 in advance from the Cricketers or £7 on the night, if any are left.
