Steve Phillips and the Rough Diamonds headline Keighley Blues Club on May 2.
Steve, a four-decades veteran of the UK blues scene, joined Dire Straits frontman Mark Knopfler to form the nucleus of the Notting Hillbillies.
As well as playing lead guitar, Phillips is a renowned interpreter of work by artists such as Blind Willie McTell, Big Bill Broonzy and Robert Johnson. Support comes from Sunjay Brayne, who balances his style between blues and traditional folk music. The gig is at Cougar Park. Tickets cost £13 by e-mailing bbj21@btinternet.com or calling 01535 600310.
