It’s safety first for Steeton Male Voice Choir as it performs concerts around the area.
Fourteen members attended a St John Ambulance first aid course at Steeton Chapel.
Publicity officer, Eric Parker, said: “The committee arranged the first aid course to provide some assistance, if ever needed, to the choir. Members sing at a concert almost every fortnight, and there is a mini-tour of Whitby and Scarborough this year, plus a tour of the North East.”
The choir launched a website last month, with webmaster Stephen Fenton providing information for the choir and the public. Visit steetonmvc.co.uk for details.
