PUPILS from Haworth Primary School will perform a Brontë-inspired show in the village’s Old School Room on Friday, June 17.
The children devised the show, during workshops with the Brontë Parsonage Museum and South Asian arts organisation Kala Sangam.
We Wove A Web In Childhood, inspired by the Brontë sisters’ youthful experiences, lasts 30 minutes and will be performed at 2pm. Admission is free.
The children researched, made props and learned dances to put together a lively, exciting and sometimes moving performance.
School head Helen Thompson said. “The passion and enthusiasm of the children really shines through."
