Random Hand kick off their first headline UK tour this Tuesday at Leeds Cockpit.

The Keighley ska-metal band will be be supported by Pickled Dick and Catch It Kebabs for the first show.

Other dates include the Adelphi, Hull (January 9), Retro Bar, Manchester (27), Fibbers, York (29) and Parish, Huddersfield (31).

Musician Joe Tilston said the tour would be followed in April by Random Hand's first trip to mainland Europe.

The tour comes off on the heels of a recording session at the BBC's Maida Vale Studios for the Radio One punk session.

Jo said: "We have received a lot of plays recently on the Radio One punk show hosted by Mike Davies.

"This led to a play on Steve Lamaqc's In New Music We Trust show, which was pretty amazing."

The tour also takes in Middlesbrough (January 10), Aberdeen (11), Glasgow (13), Newcastle (14), Darlington (15), Carlisle (16), Stoke (17), Derby (18), Bedford (19), Nottingham (20), Bristol (23), Exeter (24), Milton Keynes (25), Camden (26), Manchester (27), Harlow (February 1), Workington (8), Cambridge (9), Plymouth (10) and Alton (23).
